The Headteacher and Governors of Eldon Primary School would like to appoint a highly effective, experienced teacher for KS2 in Year 4.
Eldon is a highly successful, inner-city, primary school, providing an excellent standard of education for the highly diverse community we serve. We are extremely ambitious for all our pupils and achieve great results through our exemplary behaviour, knowledge-rich curriculum, and explicit, inclusive teaching approaches.
We are looking for someone who
• An experienced, excellent teacher with high expectations of children’s achievements and standards in all areas of school life.
• Understands the importance of explicit and inclusive teaching.
• Is committed to the ethos and values of the school.
• Is keen to complement our knowledgeable and hard-working and friendly team.
• Can communicate effectively with parents from diverse backgrounds, to encourage their active participation. In return we can offer a school with:

Eldon Primary School currently has 250 pupils on roll. We are extremely fortunate to be able to offer quality learning provision for children as young as two years old in our onsite Nursery class. Currently there are eight classes located in our impressive Victorian building, which is 136 years old this year! Following several years of ongoing building works, the school’s facilities are in tune with our children’s modern needs and suited well to delivering an exciting and bespoke curriculum. Facilities as a 4D Immersive Room, Radio Station, Eldon Forest and Eldon House, as well as our latest escapade… Eldon TV, make us a pretty impressive and unique school! I am delighted to say that the schools community is very proud of the local, regional and national accolades.
