KS3 English Teacher part-time job summary

The Governing Body wishes to appoint a KS3 English teacher to start in January 2020 to cover a maternity leave.
Standards are high and the school uses Accelerated Reader and STAR Reader to motivate and assess pupils. There are two other specialist English teachers in the KS3 team with a wealth of secondary teaching expertise. The school is participating in a national programme to deliver ‘English Mastery’ and the successful candidate will benefit from this CPD and practice.
Applications are welcome from people who:
• have qualified teacher status
• have experience of teaching KS3 English and possibly KS2 English
