KS3 & KS4 Maths Teacher job summary

New Horizons School in St Leonards-on-Sea are looking to appoint a highly motivated and innovative maths teacher to deliver an engaging and exciting maths curriculum across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

New Horizons is a SEMH special school with up to 90 students from Y3 - Y11. We are passionate about creating a safe and supportive learning environment that fosters respect for others, develops resilience, promotes high expectations and prepares young people for successful futures.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher who is passionate about teaching and learning to join our dedicated team of professionals within an Outstanding SEMH school. There are also opportunities to work in partnership across the Academy Trust and work with SEN partners on a national level.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the teaching of maths across KS3 and KS4 including GCSE. They will teach Maths to classes with a high ratio of staff to pupils, maintaining an ethos of high expectations that promotes effective teaching and learning to improve pupil behaviour, progress and attainment.
