KS3 Maths Mentor and Intervention Lead
Hours: 32.5 hours per week 8.30am-3.30pm (with 30 minutes unpaid lunch)
39 weeks per annum (term time plus one week)

Queen Katharine Academy is a rapidly expanding Academy in Peterborough. We are looking to add to our Maths department with a KS3 Maths Mentor and Intervention lead.
The role includes:
Delivering high quality Maths interventions to individuals or small groups
Contributing to raising standards of numeracy for all pupils
Promoting the progress, achievement and independence of all students in Maths.
Promoting positive attitudes towards numeracy and mathematical development with all stakeholders
Supporting Maths teachers within the classroom
Upholding and promoting the vision and ethos of the Maths Department and teaching for mastery in a mixed attainment setting
The department is well resourced and includes fantastic practitioners. We are looking to appoint a colleague who shares our vision and determination to help every student achieve their potential.
The Person
The successful candidate will have GCSE’s grade 4/C or above in Maths and English. You should have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills and be committed to supporting young people to flourish. You will be a confident and effective communicator with students, parents and staff alike.
