What skills and experience we're looking for

The Pennington Centre is looking to appoint a talented part-time KS3 Class Teacher who has the ability to facilitate progress by inspiring and engaging vulnerable learners who are at risk of permanent exclusion from school. You must have a passion for teaching and learning and the ability to communicate this to a wide range of pupils with different needs and abilities. You may have experience of teaching at KS2 or KS3 and have the desire to teach more than one subject. The ideal candidate will have a background in English and/or Maths. Knowledge and/or experience of pupils with SEMH is preferable but not required. The successful applicant will also have a patient and positive approach to managing children’s behaviour and wellbeing
