What skills and experience we're looking for
The Governors of St Alban’s Catholic High School are seeking to appoint a committed and motivated individual with appropriate experience and qualifications to provide pastoral care and support within Key Stage 4.
The
purpose of the role of Student Support Lead is to provide high quality pastoral
care and support to students in achieving
their potential by removing barriers to learning.
This is a demanding role and we are looking for a confident and committed individual with experience of working with young people in the areas of behaviour management, safeguarding, conflict management and counselling.
You must have outstanding communication skills and the ability to interact with a wide audience of people at all levels.

At St Alban's you will have a close working relationship with the whole pastoral team, including Heads of Year, DSL, senior leadership and admin support. You will receive mentoring during your induction period and beyond.
At St Alban's we have a dedicated Mental Health and Wellbeing Lead as well as the support package provided by Health Assured Benefit.
You will have a caring and supportive team around you where everyone, from governors, senior leaders, teachers and support staff all work together to achieve the best outcomes for our students.
