What skills and experience we're looking for
Required for September 2025 or earlier, a well-qualified and enthusiastic teacher to join a successful and well-resourced curriculum area. If appointed, you will be part of the leadership team for this large department that is forward thinking, innovative and committed to collaborative working.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, innovative and dynamic teacher of mathematics, with an excellent track record of improving KS5 teaching and results who will support in the leadership of our Maths Curriculum Area with a focus on driving improvements at KS5.
What the school offers its staff
The Key Stage 5 Curriculum Leader will play a pivotal role in recruiting Year 11 students to complete A Level Maths and Further Maths which are popular courses at Jack Hunt School. Our Key Stage 4 results are on an upwards trajectory resulting in increasing A Level uptake for Maths and Further Maths. Their timetable will be representative of a Key Stage 5 Subject Leader. This may be your first step into leadership but there will be extensive support for your development. This could be a full-time or part-time position.
Courses offered include Edexcel GCSE, Edexcel ‘A’ Level and Further Maths.
