Lady Seawards is a small rural
primary school which is set in the idyllic village of Clyst St George on
the outskirts of Exeter, with easy access to the M5.
The school provides a secure,

We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work closely with our SEN children. Ideally the role will be 32.5 hours per week, but we will consider candidates seeking less hours.
We are looking for an enthusiastic,
flexible and highly motivated individual to work alongside the class teacher
across all areas of the curriculum.
deliver targeted interventions.
promote inclusion through the development of social skills, language and
work under the direction of the class teacher and liaise with other
professionals both within and outside the school.
will be expected to show a high degree of initiative and be able to react
to given situations with integrity and compassion.
in working with children with SEND and 1:1
supporting intimate care
supporting children with language delay and social communication
supporting children with behavioural difficulties
There is an element of Mealtime
Assistant cover within this role. This position is offered on a fixed term basis linked to funding and the SEND needs of the school.
