We are seeking a dedicated and passionateLay Chaplainto work across multiple schools within our trust. This is areserved post, and the successful candidatemust be a practising Catholicwho is committed to deepening the spiritual life of our school communities. The schools are:

Blessed Robert Sutton Catholic Voluntary Academy, Bluestone Lane, Stapenhill, Burton-on-Trent, DE15 9SD.
Holy Rosary Catholic Voluntary Academy, Alexandra Road, Burton-on-Trent, DE15 0JE.
St Edward's Catholic Voluntary Academy, Newhall Road, Swadlincote, Derbyshire, DE11 0BD.

The Role:As Lay Chaplain, you will lead the spiritual growth of students, staff, and families across multiple schools. You’ll foster a strong Catholic ethos, organize liturgical events, and provide pastoral care. Working with the headteacher, you’ll help shape the Catholic Life of the school and implement its vision.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead prayers, liturgies, and worship, meeting the spiritual needs of the community
Offer pastoral care and spiritual guidance to students, staff and families.
Support the RE Curriculum and integrate Catholic values into school life.

Ideal Candidate:

Strong knowledge of Catholic faith, liturgy and traditions.
Excellent communicator, able to engage and inspire.
Collaborative and inclusive approach.
Able to organise spiritual events and liturgical celebrations.
