Lead Geography Teacher job summary

To secure high standards of teaching and learning across the
Geography department
Secure outstanding progress and attainment across all year groups
Secure an excellent standard of behaviour and student engagement in Geography
Leadership of all aspects of teaching, learning, assessment and
behaviour management
Implementation of all school policies
Evaluation of levels of progress and attainment and coordination of
interventions by close monitoring and scrutiny of data
Implementation of internal and external support agencies
Implementation of internal and external assessments, and
requirements/syllabi
Regular line management of post holders within the department
