Lead Librarian & Learning Resource Centre Manager job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Learning Resource Centre (LRC) of our School, which is being refurbished and expanded during the current academic year.
We are looking for an enthusiastic person who ideally has previous experience of working within an LRC in a Secondary School, although this is not essential.
The Lead Librarian/LRC Manager will maintain the Library to ensure resources and facilities are available to meet curriculum requirements and provide advice and support in lessons to both students and staff.
The successful applicant will manage the staff employed in the LRC and must be able to work as a team and independently.
You should be fully a qualified Chartered Librarian or have the equivalent experience.
You must be fully conversant with IT systems.
