What skills and experience we're looking for

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Senior Leadership Team as a Lead Practitioner from April 2023. This post provides an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and self-motivated professional to take their next steps in school leadership alongside our newly formed Leadership Team.

The successful candidate will have clear opportunities to drive school improvement working alongside experienced leaders. They should be an outstanding classroom practitioner, with an excellent knowledge and understanding of the English curriculum with the post holder taking responsibility for the leadership of this subject area across our school.

You will demonstrate a clear ability to influence and improve the teaching and pedagogy of others, raise standards of achievement for all and take clear actions to bring about and sustain improvement. You will have clear opportunities to work in partnership with school leaders and Trust colleagues to plan, influence and lead whole-school priorities. You will play a vital role in supporting our school values whilst contributing fully to life in our Middle School.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

* a knowledge of current thinking for improving pedagogy
