What skills and experience we're looking for
An unexpected opportunity has arisen to join our Senior Leadership Team as a Lead Practitioner from April 2023. This post provides an excellent opportunity for an outstanding Key Stage 2 practitioner with middle leadership experience to take their next steps in school leadership alongside our newly formed Leadership Team.
The successful candidate will have clear opportunities to drive school improvement raising standards at Key Stage 2. They should have an excellent knowledge and understanding of the upper Key Stage 2 curriculum and be able to model excellent classroom teaching in both English and Mathematics.
You will demonstrate a clear ability to influence and improve the teaching and pedagogy of others, raise standards of achievement for all and take clear actions to bring about and sustain improvement. You will have clear opportunities to work in partnership with school leaders and Trust colleagues to plan, influence and lead whole-school priorities. You will play a vital role in supporting our school values whilst contributing fully to life in our Middle School.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

* a knowledge of current thinking for improving pedagogy
