About the role
We are seeking an inspirational and highly skilled Lead Practitioner to play a central role in improving teaching and learning across our school. - Lead improvements in teaching and learning, particularly for pupils with SEND
- Coach, mentor and support teachers and support staff through observation, feedback and professional development
- Design and deliver high-quality CPD and training
- Use assessment and progress data to identify need, inform strategy and improve outcomes
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of teaching approaches and interventions
- Support the development of an innovative, inclusive curriculum, including learning beyond the classroom
- Contribute to whole-school self-evaluation and improvement planning
- Promote positive behaviour, wellbeing and safeguarding at all times
What we are looking for
You will be:
- A qualified teacher (QTS) with a relevant degree and at least 5 years teaching experience
- An outstanding practitioner with significant experience working with pupils with SEND
- An effective leader with a passion for developing others
- Highly skilled in coaching, mentoring and professional development
- Confident in using data to drive improvement
- Values-driven, resilient and committed to equity and inclusion
- A confident driver with access to a vehicle
We offer
- A supportive, values-driven leadership team
- Opportunities to influence whole-school practice and curriculum design
- High-quality professional development and leadership training
- The opportunity to make a genuine and lasting difference to the lives of children and young people with complex needs
