What skills and experience we're looking for
- A very positive and professional attitude, excellent interpersonal skills and evidence of having used them effectively even in challenging circumstances.
- Boundless enthusiasm, energy and ideas for learning, alongside a good sense of humour.
- The ability to lead and foster positive professional relationships and work effectively with staff of varying experience.
- Proven ability to raise standards in classrooms beyond their own.
And will be:
- Efficient and well organised.
- Committed to undertake professional duties which make a wider contribution to the life of their school and are regular active participants in community/enrichment events (as required).
- Committed to realising the schools vision and aims, including the inclusion and safeguarding of all pupils.

The key features of the role will be:
- To secure outstanding outcomes for all learners, through effective partnership with the Headteacher and other leaders.
- To actively promote and support the vision and direction of the Academy Trust.
- To be an outstanding classroom practitioner.
- To be an excellent staff coach/mentor.
- To effectively lead a designated subject area (Maths or Reading/Writing) or key stage
- To effectively lead assessment and moderation across the school and related school improvement plan spotlight (as required).
- To contribute positively and pro-actively to the Senior Leadership Team.
