Early Career Framework
Following the launch of the DfE’s Early Career Framework we are delighted that Summit Learning Trust has been chosen to be part of a pioneering Education Endowment Fund research project in conjunction with Ambition Institute.
Through this project, Mentors will have access to the latest practice-based resources and training which will develop the techniques, protocols and approaches of instructional coaching. In addition, NQT’s will have access to resources, training and collaborative networking opportunities which will provide excellent practical support for the classroom.

Erdington Hall Primary School has an exciting opportunity for an excellent and experienced teacher who has a particular strength in English. The role will be based in Year 6 and we are looking for a lead practitioner who is a model of good practice but most importantly, is passionate about the development of the teaching of English in KS2. Our vision is that the teaching of English is the highest quality across the school and is also interlinked throughout all areas of the curriculum preparing our children for the next phase of their education.

It is essential that you are able to motivate, inspire and manage staff and students and have experience of working with and alongside colleagues to help them develop. You will also be passionate about developing an English culture and be proactive in supporting the English team on current action research to inform best practice.
This is an exciting, new role within the school which we see developing and evolving over the academic year.
