What skills and experience we're looking for

In this role you will have a leading role in shaping the provision of T&L within the department and across the School as well as leading on whole school CPD. If you are ambitious, and have a deep interest in the latest educational research and wish to work with our incredible students, please apply for this exciting role which acts as a natural pathway to Senior Leadership. We value potential and talent as highly as experience so if you are only a couple of years into your teaching career, please do not be put off applying for this role. You will need to be a subject specialist in English and have a deep interest in teaching pedagogy and innovative classroom practice. You will be trained to become an expert coach and the improvement of colleagues will be fundamental to this rare and exciting opportunity.
