Lead Practitioner for Science job summary
We are looking for a Lead Practitioner of Science for January 2022 and warmly welcome applications from experienced teachers who are passionate about Science and are dedicated to enabling students to make excellent progress.
This is an exciting opportunity to be joining an energetic department of Scientists, which consists of early years teachers through the Teach First programme and some very experienced practitioners of Science. Joining this team will also bring you opportunities to teach at KS5, with the offer of traditional sciences and Psychology A Level, with an ambition and desire to expand the offer further.
It is a fantastic time to be joining the team. You would join a hardworking and passionate team of staff, in an academy characterised by high aspirations, academic excellence and exemplary behaviour, alongside an outstanding climate of care, encouragement and reward. Our parents are supportive and ambitious for their children, and our reputation in the local area has grown. The academy is an increasingly popular school in the rapidly growing Ebbsfleet Garden City community.
We want our students to leave school as well-rounded, confident young people, with an awareness of the wider world, and a desire and ambition to play an active part in it, all of which is encapsulated in The Ebbsfleet Academy’s motto – Be Ready, Work Hard, Be Nice!
