Lead Practitioner in Mathematics job summary
Required: April/September 2022
Mathematics is a successful and hugely popular department at the college and we offer A Level Mathematics and Further Mathematics. Many students go on to study maths or maths related degrees at university.
Our students, governors and staff are now seeking an exceptional Lead Practioner in Maths. This role will include the below responsibilities:
• Developing, co-ordinating and monitoring appropriate subject courses which meet the needs of student
• Support, challenge, motivate and develop teachers in order to secure improvements in students.
We are looking to appoint an outstanding professional with a commitment, enthusiasm and passion for all aspects of the college’s improvement. The appointed candidate will have the vision and drive to improve the quality of education.
We feel fortunate that the college is based in a diverse, vibrant and social community which has an excellent variety of transport links and this makes us easily accessible. Staff also benefit from our onsite facilities such as a swimming pool and fitness studio which can be used outside of the college day.
