What skills and experience we're looking for

The successful candidate will be an outstanding practitioner who has a successful record of success and enhancing the learning, experiences and personal growth of their students. They will be reflective, excited by taking risks, and accepting that failure is a part of the learning process. They will promote lifelong learning through their constant drive to improve their own practice, as well as supporting those they lead to develop their skills. They will believe passionately in the importance of education for all children, refusing to accept that disadvantage or SEND should limit ambition or potential.

This role will suit a range of colleagues, from an existing Lead Practitioner or Head of Maths, excited by the prospect of a new and unique challenge, an experienced middle leader (e.g. Key Stage leader or Head of Year), looking for a new opportunity or an experienced, skilled teacher, ready for their next career step. Specific responsibilities are outlined in the Job Description.

About The Beaulieu Park School

The Beaulieu Park School is Essex’s first ‘All Through’ school and the primary phase opens for reception students in September 2018 with the secondary phase opening in September 2019. The Beaulieu Park School will welcome its first cohort of 60 reception aged children in two classes. In September 2019, 180 Year 7 students will be admitted. Year on year the school will grow, providing 420 places for local children between four and eleven years old by 2024 and 900 places for local children between 11 and 16 years old by 2023.
