Lead Practitioner (Mathematics) job summary

We are seeking to recruit a Lead Practitioner with a proven track record of securing high standards of achievement for students, and the highest standards of teaching from staff, to join our Mathematics team. The successful candidate will be an experienced Teacher of Mathematics with experience of teaching Mathematics across KS3-5, as well as leading and developing the quality of teaching and learning within a successful Mathematics department, and improving general standards of numeracy. The role will be focused on raising and maintaining standards of teaching and learning within Mathematics and improving student attainment.

You will need to be an enthusiastic, lively and versatile teacher with a passion for your subject and the desire to contribute to the development of the Mathematics department and the Academy as a whole.
