Lead Practitioner - Maths job summary
About the role: We are looking for a Lead Practitioner - Maths for September 2022 or January 2023 (dependent on the successful candidates availability), and warmly welcome applications from experienced teachers who are passionate about maths and are dedicated to enabling students to make excellent progress.
As the Lead Practitioner for maths, you will work in a large team with a wide range of experience. The department continues to successfully train and develop ECTs as a means of investing in the future of the department. With senior leaders also in the department, you will be able to rely on the expertise of established practitioners who will play a part in working with you to drive standards higher. This is a fantastic role where you will have a direct impact in developing the maths department to make it even better..

As a lead practitioner you will also support the Assistant Principal and existing Lead Practitioners in driving whole school initiatives linked to teaching and learning, pedagogy and assessment. You will also support the school’s approach on life long learning with all in the community through coaching of staff and CPD offer on our dedicated Wednesday afternoons.
