What skills and experience we're looking for
Carleton High School are seeking to appoint an outstanding Lead Practitioner of English. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Teacher of English who is seeking additional responsibility.
The successful candidate will be an excellent Teacher of English - articulate, inspiring, confident and supportive with effective people management skills. The candidate will lead innovation and improvements in teaching and learning strategies within the English department, and literacy across the school.
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic person who:
- has a passion for helping pupils thrive and meet their full potential.
- has a friendly manner and can communicate effectively with staff and students.
- can work effectively as part of a team but can also work independently using their own initiative.
- has experience of working in a similar specialist area.
