Lead Practitioner of Science job summary
Due to internal promotion into the senior leadership team we have a fantastic opportunity for a well-qualified, driven professional, who is an excellent practitioner in Science to join our large science department.
We are looking for an individual with a proven track record in leadership to provide teaching and learning coaching to a team of 20 teachers, assisting the Director of Science in supporting the team in reaching their full teaching potential.
We seek a teacher who has the following qualities:
• An excellent classroom practitioner
• A supportive member of the team
• Excellent subject knowledge
• Well organised and motivated to support students of all abilities and needs
• Ability to teach across all three science subjects at KS3
• Ability to teach subject specialism at KS4 & KS5
