What skills and experience we're looking for
Stationers' Crown Woods Academy has an exciting opportunity for a Lead Practitioner - Physics to join our established and successful team from Easter 2025. The Science curriculum at Leigh Stationers' Academy is to ensure that all pupils in Science have a strong knowledge and understanding of the role and importance of Science in the modern world, while developing scientific thinking, contextual application and sophistication in scientific communication. Our desire as a team is for our curriculum to foster a desire for pupils to take Science beyond school and go into STEM based careers.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of effectively engaging with students, staff, and parents.
Proven ability to implement strategic initiatives and manage change effectively.
A deep understanding of the challenges faced by students in urban educational environments.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for educational excellence.
