Stationers' Crown Woods Academy has an exciting opportunity for a Lead Practitioner - Physics to join our established and successful team from Easter 2025. The Science curriculum at Leigh Stationers' Academy is to ensure that all pupils in Science have a strong knowledge and understanding of the role and importance of Science in the modern world, while developing scientific thinking, contextual application and sophistication in scientific communication. Our desire as a team is for our curriculum to foster a desire for pupils to take Science beyond school and go into STEM based careers.

We would like to hear from you if you have:

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of effectively engaging with students, staff, and parents.

  • Proven ability to implement strategic initiatives and manage change effectively.

  • A deep understanding of the challenges faced by students in urban educational environments.

  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for educational excellence.
