Lead Practitioner : Science Faculty job summary

This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding teacher to become a Lead Practitioner, leading curriculum, teaching, learning & assessment across the Science Faculty and wider College. As a central part of the team, you will provide excellent support for colleagues on their journey to outstanding, whilst maintaining your own excellent standards each day in the classroom.

You will be an outstanding Science teacher, with a proven record of ‘outstanding’ results and demonstrable evidence of improving the practice of others. Responsibilities will include the sharing of best practice, mentoring underperforming colleagues and embedding systems and practices that lead to improved outcomes for all students. You will have a confident and empathic approach to mentoring colleagues and will lead on training and development both within the Science Faculty and across the wider College. The ability to teach to A-Level is essential.
