What skills and experience we're looking for

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, experienced and enthusiastic teacher to take on a leadership role within the Science department at King Edward VI School. The successful candidate will lead on the teaching of Biology, including the coordination and delivery of GCSE, A Level Biology and L3 Medical Science.

We are looking for an exceptional practitioner who would like to develop their experience in subject leadership. The successful candidate will have a pro-active approach and excellent communication skills. As Lead teacher for Biology they will have a strategic role in working alongside the Head of Science and Second in Science to shape the development of teaching and learning across the department in order to maximise achievement. There is also a live advert for Second in Science open to experienced candidates which incorporates leading on Biology. We anticipate shortlisted candidates being interviewed on the same day.
