What skills and experience we're looking for

For September 2025, we are seeking to appoint an inspirational Lead Teacher for Computing.

This role will give the successful candidate the opportunity to work with experienced curriculum leaders to develop and grow their own leadership and management skills and would suit anyone aspiring to middle and senior leadership in the future.

The successful candidate will be an excellent practitioner who is passionate about teaching and learning and who is committed to their own professional development.

As Lead Teacher for Computing they will work closely to with the Associate Assistant Headteacher for STEM and advise on and support the implementation of an empowering and inspiring Computing Curriculum.

Applicants will:

  • Be passionate about teaching and encouraging students to foster a love of learning that extends beyond the classroom.
  • Be optimistic and committed to establishing high expectations.
  • Have proven ability to raise levels of progress and attainment with all students in both key stages.
  • Be an advocate of all students feeling valued, safe and happy.
  • Value the importance of professional learning, with experience of developing the potential of other teachers as well as being committed to develop their own leadership potential.
