Lead Teacher for Economics job summary
This is an exciting opportunity for an Economics specialist to drive the development of Economics in our fantastic Wood Green School Sixth Form. Economics has a long tradition of excellence at Wood Green, and growth in our school due to its popularity has led to a growth in uptake. Often teachers of Economics are required to supplement their timetable by teaching beyond their subject. The post of Lead Teacher for Economics enables you to teach exclusively A Level Economics. However, if you do enjoy teaching Business or Computing alongside Economics, we would of course be keen to support you.
As Lead Teacher for Economics, you will lead curriculum development and be accountable for outcomes for students. Valuing subject specialism is an important part of our culture and you will join our thriving group of subject leaders who drive curriculum development across our school.
