Lead Teacher for Mathematics job summary
LEAD TEACHER of NUMERACY at LANGHAM OAKS SCHOOL
Are you the person we're looking for?
This is a rare and exciting opportunity to become the Lead Teacher of Numeracy at Langham Oaks School. The role involves overseeing all aspects of the delivery of Numeracy as a key subject and you will also have involvement in formulating and progressing the School's Numeracy Curriculum. You will, therefore, contribute an important voice in shaping the future of Langham Oaks. In recognition of this responsibility, the role comes with a TLR2 award and 1SEN allowance.
During the Autumn Term 2020, the school moved to a brand new, purpose-built provision and you will therefore be joining the team as they begin a new chapter in their journey. The classrooms and facilities are modern, clean and well-equipped and you will be able to design the Numeracy Department to your own requirements.
Working with our students and families is challenging, but also hugely rewarding. Our staff are friendly and caring and committed to achieving the best possible pupil outcomes so that when they leave us, our young people are prepared and ready for the next stage in their lives. If you feel you have the qualities we are looking for in this important and influential role, we would very much like to hear from you. Full details are available in the Application Pack attached.
