Further details about the role

The MFL Team

The languages team is led by a Curriculum Team Leader for Languages and benefits from the expertise of specialists in French, with additional language skills in Spanish, German & Russian. French as a modern foreign language is valued by our school community in Key Stage 3, with an increasing number of students opting to continue to GCSE level, where attainment is consistently good and aspirations are high. We deliver engaging and interactive lessons to students following a blended EPI approach. Key Stage 4 students follow the Edexcel GCSE specification and, at GCSE-level and above, students are given their own Chromebook, which gives the opportunity for more personalised and interactive learning in the classroom.
