Lead Teacher of Drama job summary
We are recruiting for a motivated, passionate and committed Lead Teacher of Drama to join us from September 2022 in order to promote the highest achievement possible for our students. We are looking for someone who is committed, innovative and solutions focused. There are plenty of opportunities to get involved with extra-curricular activities as well as numerous CPD opportunities both within the department and externally. A passion for theatre and all aspects of drama education is a must as well as a keen desire to continuously develop subject knowledge and pedagogy.
Part-time and full-time hours will be considered.

About You
You will have Qualified Teacher Status. You will be an inspiring practitioner with the ability to achieve success within a secondary school setting. You will be able to enthuse, engage, motivate and challenge students. You will also have good interpersonal skills, sound behaviour management skills and have the highest expectations of yourself and our students.

Since becoming an academy in September 2009, Kettering Buccleuch Academy has seen many exciting changes. We are an all-through academy catering for students aged 4-18. We moved into our new, purpose-built building in January 2013.
