Lead Teacher of History job summary

We are looking to appoint a full-time outstanding Teacher of History who can inspire and excite students in their learning of History.  You will be joining a well-resourced department that is driven in our focus on raising achievement. History is a popular option at GCSE and we have thriving numbers in A Level for both course we offer for History and Politics. The post offers outstanding opportunities for continuous personal and professional development for a highly motivated and ambitious teacher. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher.  The person appointed would be supported by the Head of History and the team of History specialist teachers.  We also work closely with the other Humanity subjects to support progress and learning across all key stages.
