We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and outstanding Lead Teacher of Maths to join us in September 2025. The maths department is very much a team; we are dynamic, forward looking and ambitious, setting ourselves high targets for development and achievement for the forthcoming years, within a very supportive and reflective atmosphere.
Our GCSE results have been consistently outstanding for many years and we have continued this success with the A-Level results of our sixth form. The department is committed to improving learning through research and collaborative CPD, with focuses on metacognition, mastery and mixed attainment teaching. We are proud of our professional development offer, which is strengthened by our involvement Origin Maths Hub, based here at Tudor Grange Solihull. Consequently, we are looking to expand our capacity as a high performing maths department. Additionally, you will benefit from:

Working in a subject area where 95% of students achieved a 4+, 84% achieved a 5+ and 43% achieved a 7+ at GCSE in 2024;
In Mathematics 40% of our A level students achieved A*-A and 64% achieved A*-B in 2024;
In Further Mathematics 88% of our A level students achieved A*-A and 100% achieved A*-B in 2024;
Working in a forward-looking subject area with excellent resources; and
The opportunity to participate and lead in a wide range of CPD activities through our Maths Hub status and outreach work.
