We are looking for a passionate, driven, committed, forward thinking and innovative Leader of Engineering and Vocational Learning, to lead this highly successful faculty. This is a key role within the Academy and will focus on raising achievement and attainment within this area. We require an inspirational individual who has a clear understanding of vocational learning and of STEM based learning across the curriculum, with the knowledge of how to achieve this, to move the department forward.
The Faculty at present comprises Engineering, Hair and Beauty Studies and Hospitality and Catering. The Faculty is extremely well-equipped with state-of-the-art industrial machinery and equipment. The Engineering area benefits from two lathes, a mill, laser cutters and industrial CNC lathe and mill machinery all housed in a well-equipped engineering workshop. We have an up to-date Hair and Beauty studio that also is fully furnished with 9 work stations and specialist equipment. The Faculty also benefits from a full computer suite available during all lessons.
