We are seeking a teacher to push the boundaries of what is possible.We already have a highly capable Maths team.Our team comprises an AAHT Maths with overall responsibility and two Leaders of Learning.We wish to add to the capacity to take Maths even further forward.We are flexible with the responsibilities however the focus must be on developing the quality of curriculum.There may also be an opportunity to discuss an appointment on the Lead Practitioner scale if you wish to wholly focus on developing teaching and learning.There would also be significant professional development opportunities at this outward facing school.

We are looking for an excellent classroom teacher, who is enthusiastic and inspiring. The successful applicant will have excellent subject knowledge and a strong desire to engage students in learning. They should be organised and have the ability to solve problems and manage their classroom effectively. The teachers in the Maths department work hard collaboratively, communicate effectively and are committed to improving their skills and practice in order to make a real difference to the lives of all pupils. They ensure that all staff are provided with a supportive, friendly and welcoming environment.

The diverse curriculum offered at Witton Park supports a high up-take for EBacc and option subjects. Outcomes for pupils in 2016 and 2022were judged to be good by Ofsted. The Ofsted report and website will give you a flavour for other aspects of the school.
