What skills and experience we're looking for

  • Sir William Romney’s School requires a dynamic, enthusiastic and impactful teacher to lead and develop our science department as well as line manage and support developments in other areas of the school. Applications are welcome from teachers of all science specialisms. The role would be ideal for an experienced subject lead looking for a new setting or indeed for someone looking to move from a second in department role to a position of whole department leadership with wider school responsibilities.

Sir William Romney's School is a small 11-16 school in Tetbury in the heart of the Cotswolds. In April 2020, we became part of The Athelstan Trust, a Multi-Academy Trust, which consists of five secondary schools: Sir William Romney's, Malmesbury School, Bradon Forest School in Purton, The Dean Academy in Lydney and Chipping Sodbury School.
