An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint a Director of Behaviour at Archbishop Sentamu Academy for January 2022. The successful candidate will join our committed leadership and work with all stakeholders to maintain positive discipline, safe and fully supported children, high attendance and open communications between home and school.
There is a teaching element to the post and a background in Science would be desirable.

Archbishop Sentamu Academy is an 11-18 Church of England Academy, sponsored by the Diocese of York. We were established in September 2008 on the site of our predecessor school, and moved into a superb, £35 million pound building in September 2011 as part of the Hull BSF programme. We currently have around 1410 students on roll.
In 2018 we reported a greatly improved set of examination results, giving us a strongly rising trend. Our crossover of students attaining English and Maths was over 49%.
Furthermore, in the Sixth Form our results also improved, giving us a strongly rising trend and putting us well within the top 25% nationally for academic progress at both AS and A2 level.
The school came out of special measures in 2018 with good judgements for Leadership and Management, PDWB and Sixth Form.
