Stormont House School is an unusual and widely-respected special school whose pupils achieve up to GCSE/BTEC levels at age 16. Most progress into our innovative Sixth Form where they ‘are very well prepared for the next stage of their education’ (Ofsted, 2018). We became one of the first outstanding schools in the country in 2005 and have improved at each of the 3 full inspections since then (most recently July 2018). This position plays a vital part in leading us towards our vision of ‘Achievement for All in a Unique World-Class School’. If you are passionate about the difference an excellent school can make to young people’s ability to learn, express themselves and become active global citizens, please read on.
We are recruiting one or two Leading Practitioners for Teaching Learning & Assessment; roles that are improving the quality of teaching at their heart. We lead a teaching schools’ alliance and are a National Support School; what could you bring to our team?
