Leading Practitioner in Physics (Whole School Teaching & Learning) job summary
We are seeking to appoint an inspiring, enthusiastic and outstanding teacher of Science (Physics) who has the ability to share their teaching skills and coach staff to become outstanding practitioners. To start either Easter 2020 or September 2020.
Under the guidance of the Assistant Headteacher (Teaching & Learning) and Head of Science the successful candidate’s brief will be:-
• To assist with driving forward the vision of teaching to the top, making Physics accessible for all pupils through the creation of engaging curriculum and the coaching of staff both specialist and non-specialist
• To support the strategic leadership of the Science department
• To lead other staff development across the College
This is a perfect role for anyone wishing to develop their leadership potential and with the ambition for a future Assistant Headship/leadership role. The successful candidate will be an outstanding classroom practitioner who has the ability to enthuse both pupils and staff, with a passion for Physics and learning in general and encourage all to achieve beyond what they imagine!
