Learning Assistant: Pupil Support job summary
To work with and supervise individuals and groups of children under the direction/instruction of teaching and/or senior staff, inclusive of specific individual learning needs, enabling access to learning for all pupils and assistance and support in classroom management and behaviour techniques.

De La Salle School is a non-selective, co-educational, Roman Catholic secondary
school for children aged 11-16. It is situated in Eccleston, a suburb of St Helens, Merseyside, and
currently has 1,200 pupils on roll. It is associated with the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of
Liverpool. The school is a proud member of the Lasallian family of schools across the world.
The school is under a new, effective leadership team and well on its exciting journey to becoming
an outstanding school, with a passionate and positive family of staff. The school is outward
looking with strong external relationships to provide a high level of guidance and professional
development for teachers and support staff at all stages of their careers. These links include
