What skills and experience we're looking for

Have relevant experience of working with young children with social, emotional, mental health and behaviour needs.
Have the ability to work imaginatively to engage disaffected young people, have effective communication skills, the ability to be understanding, calm and supportive and have energy, patience, enthusiasm and a sense of humour.
Have an understanding of the issues relating to pupils who have additional learning needs, more able and special educational needs.
GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent).
Recognised qualification or related experience.
Experience of working in a team situation.
Experience of working with pupils who have special needs.
