What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Learning Consultant of Science to join our already fantastic team of dedicated, efficient and hardworking colleagues, who contribute to a wonderful culture of work and play a key role in the delivery of our Science Curriculum
The ideal candidate will be an ambitious professional with the ability to teach across the key stages, and will join an academy which is dynamic and inspiring; creating a culture of outstanding success amongst our students. As a key member of the team, you will play a lead role in curriculum development alongside progressing and enhancing the teaching practice of others within the academy and beyond. We are keen to secure a high calibre teacher who can make a telling contribution to our forward looking team.

- Can demonstrate the ability or the determination and potential to be an outstanding learning practitioner;
- Teaching a timetable of Science up to Key Stage 4 and all associated planning, marking and reporting in line with Academy expectations;
- Have excellent subject knowledge, and a passion to help young people learn
- Understand the importance of following set procedures in terms of Behaviour for Learning, and are willing to enforce rigorous expectations;
- Have a strong passion for their subject, and enjoy dialogue and discourse relating to their subject, and teaching and learning as a whole;
- Can demonstrate their willingness to be a team player, and work with an Academy that will support them fully;
- Believe that a full, inclusive curriculum and Academy starts with a positive attitude towards students.
- A desire to contribute to the overall success of the ‘Langley Way’.
