LEARNING DIRECTOR OF SCIENCE
MPS / UPS plus TLR 1.2 (£10,200)

Required from September 2022, we are looking for an exceptional leader, who is an outstanding classroom practitioner, has a positive track record of significant impact in an outside of the classroom, has management experience and is able to further develop the science curriculum and teaching staff within it.
At the core of the department is the belief that the delivery of practical science, both in the classroom and as part of extra-curricular activities, is core to ensuring that our students develop a love of science and truly experience the wonder and awe that science has to offer.
To be the successful candidate you will:
• Demonstrate a passion about the learning and achievement of all students;
• Strong understanding of the Science curriculum at all key stages of learning;
• Have excellent, well-developed interpersonal skills;
• Have a strong commitment to inclusion, diversity and flexible working practices;
