What skills and experience we're looking for

Are you an ambitious and passionate teacher of Mathematics? Are you ready to lead the development of a talented Mathematics team, with courses that are very popular at both Key Stage 4 and 5? Are you able to embed a culture of excellence, high-expectations, and a love of learning? Are you able to motivate and inspire others to deliver the very best Mathematics curriculum?

We seek to appoint a motivated Learning Leader for Mathematics to join our successful faculty. You will have proven yourself as a talented teacher and now believe you are able to lead others. The area of focus will be determined on evaluation of candidate skills.

The ideal candidate for this role will be able to enact and share vision of the 5 Dimensions Trust, possessing excellent teaching skills and an in-depth knowledge of the Mathematics curriculum, demonstrating the values of the 5 Dimensions Trust. You will have the confidence and communication skills to develop relationships with stakeholders and create inspirational learning experiences.

• Superb GCSE results, achieving a Progress 8 of over +0.2.
• At Key Stage 4 our higher ability students study the FSMQ in Further Maths alongside their GCSE.
• Students opt to study GCSE Statistics as an extra-curricular activity and take the GCSE exam early, as a result of this. We also offer students the opportunity to take other awards outside of the classroom.
• Three different Level 3 courses for our Sixth Formers.

You will have the opportunity to develop through our dedicated 5 Dimensions Leadership and Training Centre which offers a wide-ranging and nationally recognised professional development opportunities.
