An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, well-qualified and highly motivated individual to join a growing department and be part of our supportive and driven Character Faculty, which includes Geography, History, Philosophy & Ethics, Financial Studies, Business Studies and Economics. These are extremely popular subjects at the Academy in both KS4 and KS5. A proven track record in teaching and learning responsibilities is desirable but not essential.
The ideal candidate will:
• Have experience of teaching at key stage 4 and key stage 5, including exam groups
• Have a love of their subject
• Have high regard for their learning environment and resources
• Aspire to be a talented, dynamic and an ambitious teacher, who will ensure good progress for all students
• Have the ability to inspire, engage and enthuse students
• Be skilled at fostering independent and collaborative student-led learning
You will be given every support possible to develop into an outstanding leader.
