An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our dynamic and inspirational Inclusion department in a Student support role as Learning Manager at our outstanding school in the heart of Yorkshire. We are looking to recruit a Learning Manager who will join a team of 5 in our Inclusion department, you will be pragmatic and sympathetic, well organised, have the ability to prioritise your workload, have excellent administrative skills, attention to detail and ensure that strict deadlines are met. The ability to work on your own initiative and within team is key to supporting our students.
This is pastoral role and you will support the Senior Leadership Team, teaching staff and inclusion team in managing the emotional development of our students helping them develop new knowledge, wisdom and develop respect for themselves, their peers and staff members. You will be required to log, track and analyse student data, provide reports from our on-line system, plan strategic interventions and monitoring in order to maximise student attainment; experience of these tasks would be a benefit. You will also coordinate positive behaviour management and praise and effectively support our students who require assistance in overcoming barriers to learning in order to develop their potential.
