Job Title: Learning Mentor
Location: William Barcroft Junior School, DN35 7SU
Contract: Fixed Term until 31/07/2028, 32.5 hours per week, Term Time +5 days
Salary Scale: Scale 3, points 5-6 (£24,790 - £25,183 FTE)
Pro Rata Salary for this post: £18,541 - £18,835

We are searching for a Learning Mentor to provide support to children and staff, contributing to high standards and achievements.
In a nutshell, the role of Learning Mentor is to:
To organise and deliver personal, social, learning, mentor support within a setting to underpin educational, social, emotional, physical and cultural needs within an agreed framework at a range of locations. To include pastoral intervention groups and giving 1:1 pastoral support. You will be suppoting our most vulnerable pupils.
To ensure that all support provided within the setting underpins raising standards by identifying barriers to learning and making available a full range of complementary services and support to enhance existing provision, support learning, increase participation and encourage social inclusion.
