Hours 29 hours and 15 minutes per week working, term time only plus 5 INSET days

Our team is growing, and we are seeking to appoint enthusiastic, proactive and hard-working Learning Mentor who is committed to improving outcomes for children and young people with SEND and their families. This fixed term contract commences on 1 September 2022 until 31 August 2023.
Do you have a high level of self-awareness and an ability to deal with issues sensitively? Under the direct line management of the Assistant Headteacher, you will operate within a very successful Pastoral Team working with both individual and small groups of children to support their social and emotional development using the Thrive principles.
Do you have knowledge and experience of supporting children who have experienced trauma, difficulties with attachment and poor emotional literacy? If so, this is an opportunity to join a strong and dedicated school team who are committed to providing high quality experiences for all the children at Windwhistle Primary School.
