Pontefract Academies Trust is a cross phase Multi Academy Trust comprising of eight schools, six primaries and two 11 - 16 secondary schools. The Trust is a medium sized family of schools all located within a tight geographic hub within Pontefract. Pupils are drawn from the local community that includes a mix of different catchment areas.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, hardworking and committed Learning Mentor to join De Lacy Primary School. The candidate will be responsible for complimenting the professional work of teachers by addressing the needs of pupils who need particular help to overcome barriers to learning. The role is based across all key stages in the school, planning, preparing and delivering activities for individual pupils and groups, or short term for whole classes.
This is a permanent, 32.5 hours per week, term time plus five days contract, equating to 195 working days per year.
